We are so excited to have Horizon as a herd sire here! Not only is he stunning, his genetics are spectacular. Both of his granddams milked over 3000lbs, and one was a Top 10 milker 3x in a row! Both granddams were ADGA Top Performers twice, and his grandsire was an ADGA Premiere Sire twice. The udders and milking lines behinds him are absolutely the best of the best.

He has matured into a stunning buck, long and tall and proud. He never walks anywhere when he can prance, and he is a natural at posing. He's an extremely sweet and friendly mama's boy and loves attention. We look forward to what he is going to add to our herd!

Rogue has an amazing background so I jumped on him even though he's out of a first freshener. I love his dam line, who has consistently produced does who score 92 on Linear Appraisal, and his grandsire, J&M Hideaway Paul Revere is a stunning Elite buck who has also sired 2 Elite daughters. His sire's side is no less impressive, boasting a granddam who is a Top Ten milker and some extremely well-known Nubian bucks. 

He is from a long line of show goats and he knows it. He loves to pose and he has quite the sense of the dramatic. Unfortunately, even though he is very sweet, he is not very bright... It's okay, Rogue, we still love you!

We call him Socks because his name abbreviates to SOC. He's just a baby right now, born in September of 2024, but he is a miracle and we are so excited about him! He is the AI son of my favorite buck of all time, SGCH Split-Creek Spinning Top, who died in 2004. Nubians have been bred in recent years to be more like the Swiss breeds and moving away from the dual-purpose goats they were initially designed to be. The heavy-built old-school lines are making a comeback in Socks--he's a really solid kid and already deep and wide with a level topline.

His dam's line is no slouch either, bred along Blissberry (in fact, his dam and my other buck Horizon have the same granddam - Vallelujah) and Wingwood lines. He won't be ready to breed until 2025, but in the meantime he's a happy, snuggly baby.
