Herd Sires

Flag, as we call him, is a very exciting addition to our herd, and we hope that he leaves a lasting impression on our lines. He is the direct descendant of my all-time favorite buck, SGCH Split-Creek Spinning Top, who sired Top Ten milkers, bred back along old-school Split Creek Dairy lines. His dam milked for 600+ days as a first freshener, which is highly unusual for a Nubian! His pedigree is a who's who of top breeders, and his great-great granddam was a Top 10 milker. He is wide and deep and strongly built, and stamps his kids with that style. He is a very sweet boy, gentle and loving, and quite the ladies' man.

We are so excited to have Horizon as a herd sire here! Not only is he stunning, his genetics are spectacular. Both of his granddams milked over 3000lbs, and one was a Top 10 milker 3x in a row! Both granddams were ADGA Top Performers twice, and his grandsire was an ADGA Premiere Sire twice. The udders and milking lines behinds him are absolutely the best of the best.

He's still a young kid, but he is already long and tall and proud. He never walks anywhere when he can prance, and he is a natural at posing. He's a mama's boy and loves attention. We look forward to what he is going to add to our herd!
